Tour from Jerusalem to the Galilee
Two-day Biblical tour between Jerusalem and the Galilee in the Land of the Bible
On the tour route:
The Land of the Promise

Day One:
8:30 a.m. Leave Jerusalem.
While traveling we will learn about the successful communities of Beit-El and Ofrah, as well as the story of the Inheritance of Benjamin.
9:15 a.m. Tel Shilo.
Tour the site where the Tabernacle was housed after the Israelites entered the holy land. View audio-visual presentation at the site
11:30 a.m. Mount Kabir/Abraham's Mountain
Look out point over Biblical areas and description of the entry of the Children of Israel into the land; view the Altar of Joshua on Mount Ebal; look into the Biblical city of Shechem (Nablus), and more.
1:00 p.m. Lunch at the Horon army base canteen.
1:30 p.m. Itamar
Visit local organic farming homesteads (opportunity to taste!); visit a local farmer's market; view Biblical sites from strategic look-out point; meet with local residents and families of terror victims.
3:30 p.m. Mount Grizim/Mount Bracha
Visit archeological site on the mountaintop and meet with local Samaritans.
6:00 p.m. Overnight at the Eshel Hashomron Hotel.
Enjoy cascading waterfalls as you relax by the pool or visit the hotel's biblical sculpture garden.

Day Two:
8:30 a.m. Ariel – capitol of the Shomron
Tour of the Biblical Park, followed by a tour of the largest settlement in the Shomron.
10:30 a.m. Barkan Industrial Park
Visit one of the largest and best planned industrial parks in Israel. Meet with Benzi Lieberman, mayor of the Shomron Regional Council and chairman of Yesha Council.
12:00 noon Lunch at the Kedumim snack bar.
1:00 p.m. On the bus.
While travelling we will learn about Sebastia/Shomron, the capital of the Kingdom of Israel; Sebastia railway station; renewal of the Jewish settlement of Shomron.
1:30 p.m. Homesh
Support visit to an isolated community in the heart of the Shomron mountains, which also offers a panoramic view of the coastal plain and Tel Aviv.
2:30 p.m. Sanur
Visit artists' village and tour gallery/
4:00 p.m. Mevo-Dotan
Visit isolated Shomron community. From there we will view the Dotan Valley and the site of the sale of Joseph into slavery by his 10 brothers.
5:00 p.m. Continue to travel North to the Galilee and Tiberias.

1. “Land of Milk and Honey”: Opportunity to help extract honey in a Shomron community.
2. “You will again plant vineyards in the Mountains of Shomron …” Planting grapevines on Mount Bracha, putting into action the words of the Prophet Jeremiah. Includes certificate (cost: $10/person).
