A Level IV Trauma Center would help save lives in the Shomron.

A child breaks his arm. A young mother goes into labor with her first child. A terrorist attack leaves a dozen wounded, some seriously.

With incidents of terror on our roads increasing with each passing month, some families find it impossible to travel where they need to go. Imagine what would happen if a road were closed due to terrorist gunfire when your seriously injured or ill child needs to get to a hospital a hundred miles away - and you can not get him there safely.

The 33 communities of the Shomron Regional Council are spread over an area of over 1000 square miles. Routine medical emergencies are compounded by a lack of proper facilities and by the fact that hospitals are tens or hundreds of miles away.

We are working in close cooperation with and in conjunction with the Magen David Adom and the Israel Defense Forces. Please help us with the following life saving trauma centers.

We require:

An ambulatory trauma center - a vehicle equipped with a tent to act as a mobile trauma center/medical station in the event of a hostile attack, serious collision and natural disasters. US $15,000.

A stationary trauma center for the Northern settlements of Shaked, Hinnanit, Tal Menashe, Reichan, Hermesh and Mevo Dotan. US $122,000.

A state-of-the-art, level IV stationary trauma center to serve the communities of Elon Moreh, Itamar, Yizhar, Bracha, Migdalim and Tapuach. US $500,000.
